Wierd 226 ftp response from ftp server

ASA 9.0.2.2451
Windoze XP

Anyone seen this before?
Trying to use a ftp server for replication, works fine when I point to my
own development ftp server, but this production server seems to be reporting
a wierd response which I believe is throwing dbremote off...
Any ideas?
