updated 1.2.2 to 2.0.1 but still shows 1.2.2I just reinstalled the SBS 6 with the NW6 SP3 Overly cd and i put web
access, iprint, dhcp/dns, naas on the initial install. I then proceded to
upgrade edir to 8.7.1 ( i updated jvm and the other stuff that 8.7.1
required first) and everything went great. I then udated imanager from
1.2.2. to 2.0.1 and the install went as expected no errors or anything.
Here is the problem when i surf to iManager with internet exploder 6 it
shows me i am using 1.2.2. I read the instructions and they talk about some

From 2.1.2 to 3.1 or 2.1.2 to 3.0.13 to 3.1
I'm checking back in after being away for a couple of months and I missed the 3.1 release. I can't seem to find any info on what's new in 3.1 and also what the upgrade path should be. So, is the recommended path for upgrading from v 2.1.2 to go directly to 3.1 or do I need to go to 3.0.13 first? Are there any big issues in 3.1 that make it a "gotta have it" version?I did a couple of 2.1.2 to 3.0.12 upgrades but haven't upgraded to or tested 3.1 yet. I have one 2.1.2 site that is commercial and I need it to be down as little time as possible. It also has a lot of third party modules...
where to get dnn 2.0.2 (not 2.0.1 beta 2)
where can i get the new version? on dotnetnuke.com there is only version "dotnetnuke 2.0.1 (beta 2)" for download. but the protal is running on 2.0.2 ...
other question: 2.0.1 b2 is running on access and (other ver.) on mssql. the access-powerde version ist mutch slower; not only a bit; it's nearly not pos. the work with it. why?
1) 2.0.2 is not yet available for download. As soon as it is, you will see it on the download page at DotNetNuke.
2) The MS Access version was created to prove the validity of the DataProvider model. Jet SQL is very limited compared to T-SQL and...

I tried a few times to find the upgrade at the Firefox web site but only
found the complete 2.0.0.2 install file.
then I used the HELP > Check for Updates and found, downloaded and
installed the 2.0.0.2 update. When it was completed, I re-launched
firefox and checked the ABOUT, which showed 2.0.0.2
Yet today I got a firefox notice that an update was available; checked
ABOUT again and it's back to 2.0.0.1.

firefox 2.0.0.1 and 2.0.0.2 download window problemI am having a problem with the download options in the browser. Hope I can
explain this correctly so it makes sense.
I went to "options" "download" and tried changing it there for various
settings with no change. Problem just started with 2.0.01 and unfortunately
the browser updated to 2.0.0.2 before I could stop it but problems still
there.
My other computer works fine with both versions so I think something got
corrupted but don't know what or how to fix it. I don't want to uninstall
FF and reinstall it and lose all my bookmarks. Is there a r...

Migrating from ASP.Net 1.1 to 2.0 #2
Hi,
I have a class derived from ReadWriteControlDesigner
which has following lines of code in one of its methods:
mshtml.IHTMLElement QuestionHTML = ((mshtml.IHTMLElement)this.DesignTimeElement);
string TagPrefix = ((mshtml.IHTMLElement2)this.DesignTimeElement).scopeName;In 2.0, this code does not compile. The nearest property I found was this.Tag, which gives me IControlDesignerTag interface, which has methods like GetOuterContent() etc. How do I get the scopeName from there? Any ideas? Is there any other way of doing this? Thanks.

Will migration from 2.1.2 to 2.2 be possible?
Hello,
I was wondering if there will be plans to easily migrate from DNN 2.1.2 to DNN 2.2? I say easily because some people run thousands of portals on 1 DNN system. There should be an easy way to automatically migrate from old DNN to new.
Is there going to be plans to allow this? If so, how will it work? Will any downsides exist?
How about existing 2.1.2 skins and modules. Will they all work in DNN 2.2?
How about the user model. Does that change in DNN 2.2? Right now its 1 username for the entire DNN server. Does DNN 2.2 have usernames unique to portals? If so, how w...
iManager 1.2.2 to 2.0.2 UpgradeI've been running GW 6.5 WebAccess on the following system configuration:
Netware 6.0 SP4
eDirectory 8.7.3 SP2 IR
JVM 1.4.1 SP6
Novell Enterprise Web Server
Tomcat 3.3
Apache 1.03
iManager 1.2.2
Yesterday I made the following change:
Upgraded iManager to v2.0.2 and Tomcat to v4.0.
This change broke GW WebAccess.
I'm getting the following error when I try to get into GW WebAccess.
It appears to pop up as it tries to bring up the login page.

imanager 1.2.2 vs 2.0.1hi
1.2.2 has the iprint stuff for creating/managing/etc iprint
2.0.1 does not.
Where did it go?
Phil,
having the iPrint snapins is not a question of the iManager version.
It is a question if you have the snapins itself or not :)
If you tell us what iManager version you have on which platform and
where you got ti from we might be able to help.

migrating from 1.2 to 2.0
I've developed a website in 1.2 and would like to migrate to 2.0. What's the best way to do that? It looks like there are many differences in control properties, etc.
By 1.2, did you mean ASP.net 2.0's alpha bits, or ASP.net 1.1? If you're running 1.1, you should be able to build your app in 2.0 without any problems.
If you were running the alpha bits, you ALSO should be able to build in 2.0, but there may be some syntax changes (especially in the web.config).
Basically, try it out. If it doenst work, post your problems in this forum....
