I just reinstalled the SBS 6 with the NW6 SP3 Overly cd and i put web access, iprint, dhcp/dns, naas on the initial install. I then proceded to upgrade edir to 8.7.1 ( i updated jvm and the other stuff that 8.7.1 required first) and everything went great. I then udated imanager from 1.2.2. to 2.0.1 and the install went as expected no errors or anything. Here is the problem when i surf to iManager with internet exploder 6 it shows me i am using 1.2.2. I read the instructions and they talk about some migrating but the direction don't match imanager 1.2.2 (i assume they are reffe...

I'm checking back in after being away for a couple of months and I missed the 3.1 release. I can't seem to find any info on what's new in 3.1 and also what the upgrade path should be. So, is the recommended path for upgrading from v 2.1.2 to go directly to 3.1 or do I need to go to 3.0.13 first? Are there any big issues in 3.1 that make it a "gotta have it" version?I did a couple of 2.1.2 to 3.0.12 upgrades but haven't upgraded to or tested 3.1 yet. I am having a problem with the download options in the browser. Hope I can explain this correctly so it makes sense. I went to "options" "download" and tried changing it there for various settings with no change. Hi, I have a class derived from ReadWriteControlDesigner which has following lines of code in one of its methods: mshtml.IHTMLElement QuestionHTML = ((mshtml.IHTMLElement)this.DesignTimeElement); string TagPrefix = ((mshtml.IHTMLElement2)this.DesignTimeElement).scopeName;In 2.0, this code does not compile. Hello, I was wondering if there will be plans to easily migrate from DNN 2.1.2 to DNN 2.2? I say easily because some people run thousands of portals on 1 DNN system. There should be an easy way to automatically migrate from old DNN to new. Is there going to be plans to allow this? If so, how will it work? Will any downsides exist? hi 1.2.2 has the iprint stuff for creating/managing/etc iprint 2.0.1 does not. Where did it go? Phil, having the iPrint snapins is not a question of the iManager version. migrating from 1.2 to 2.0
I've developed a website in 1.2 and would like to migrate to 2.0. What's the best way to do that? It looks like there are many differences in control properties, etc. By 1.2, did you mean ASP.net 2.0's alpha bits, or ASP.net 1.1? If you're running 1.1, you should be able to build your app in 2.0 without any problems. If you were running the alpha bits, you ALSO should be able to build in 2.0, but there may be some syntax changes (especially in the web.config). Basically, try it out.
