It looks like you have some descendent classes that are based on ancestors
that no longer exist.
Try removing n_cst_filesrvmac, n_cst_filesrvwin16, n_cst_platformmac, and
n_cst_platformwin16.

It would be impossible to solve your migration issues from here. Only you
can understand how and where the classes in your application are referenced.
A tool like PBLPeeper can help. www.techno-kitten.com

Chidambaram,

It looks like your using the PFC. When version 10 of the PFC was
introduced, Unicode standards were implemented. All these changes were made
in the PFC so it would work correctly.

We received some of the same errors you are seeing when we migrated an
application from PB7 to PB10.2. Once we updated the PFC layer the problems
went away. You've got some other errors that may be due to missing objects,
but I would look at the PFC first.

Probably would be best for you to download the version of the PFC for PB11
off codexchange.

https://powerbuilder.codexchange.sybase.com/

If you have an account you can log into that link and download the version
of the PFC you need.

Hope this info helps.

Upgrade to version 11 form version 9
Our customer upgraded to version 11 of SQL Anywhere from 9. There are a number of tables that compose a master detail relationship. The database was designed to use the foreign key relationship between the 2 tables to cascade the deletes when the master (primary_key) was deleted, in that the action for Delete was set to Cascade. Now with version 11 an SQL error (23000) is generated for the reference of the foreign key in the detail table when deletes occur. I read the help file and did not see any "changes in behavior" which would effect this. I did notice that wi...

PowerBuilder version
If I want to create COM objects using PowerBuilder, do I need the Enterprise edition? To build the com obejct directly from PowerBuilder I believe the only option is the Enterprise edition. See the lonk below and look at page 7. Component creation options are only available from the Enterprise Edition. http://www.sybase.com/content/1011619/pb_brochure.pdf - Joe Slawsky (NOSPAMFORME_jslawsky@planetdx.com) www.planetdx.com 2 things: One, you can always create COM components in VB or VC++ if you have access to either of those, and use them within PB. *Personally*, I think...

Powerbuilder 11 SQL Anywhere version
With the recent licensing changes I feel I need to ask this. I have Powerbuilder 11.2 Enterprise and have been using an old version of SQL Anywhere (8) for the standalone products I sell. I'd like to update SQL Anywhere to 11 but I'm thinking I should be using the version that came with PB 11, SQL Anywhere 10.0.0 I believe. Can anyone let me know what is the latest version of SQL Anywhere that I can distribute with my apps? If it's 10, am I stuck with 10 GA? Thanks in advance! ---== Posted via the PFCGuide Web Newsreader ==--- http://www.pfcguide.com/_newsgroups/group_list...
