That build would not have been publicly available. However, you can go
straight to the 6.5.01 release, which is Build 620, at
https://support.sybase.com/esd/pbuilder_win_v651maint.html.

Good luck,

PowerBuilder 10.5.2 Build 7826 differs from PowerBuilder 11.5.1 Build 4675
Apparently there's some data conversion issues that differ from PowerBuilder 10.5.2 and 11.5.1 (builds listed in subject). The following mini scrip results in different returned values: Byte lb_test Decimal ld_test lb_test = 48 ld_test = Dec(lb_test) MessageBox("Test", String(ld_test)) In PowerBuilder 10.5.2, the messagebox displays the value "48". In PowerBuilder 11.5.1 the messagebox displays the value "0.48". It appears that in PB 11.5.1, it's dividing the result by 100 for some reason. It appears to be a bug, just wanted to ve...

I'm looking for the DLL powerbuilder allowing to connect me to a data base oracle 8.1.6. Could you tell me where DLL are available and how can install DLL. Thank you for your answer . You can get the O84 driver (for all versions of Oracle 804 and later) from the SDN: http://sdn.sybase.com/sdn/appdev/get_doc.stm?loc=1000818 I believe it will require you to upgrade to 651, which you can download from: http://download.sybase.com/esd/pbuilder_win_v651maint.html -- Terry Dykstra (TeamSybase) Canadian Forest Oil Ltd. InfoMaker 5.04 vs. PowerBuilder 6.5 build 444
I am using InfoMaker 5.04 and PowerBuilder 6.5 build 444. The version difference is because of the main application we are using is at version 5.04, but I am creating apps in PB 6.5. Here is my question. I created a report in IM 5.04 and it takes around 4 seconds to run. When I regen it in PB 6.5 then run the same report with the same retrieval arg, it takes around 16 seconds. Why is there such a difference in the time it takes to run these reports? The report is retrieving the data from the same database using an ODBC connection. Thank you for your help. Build in Powerbuilder 6.5
I just installed the 6.5 patch and have attempted to compile a very simple pbl however I get numerous pfc errors when attempting to compile even after adjusting the order the pfc libraries are listed in the application object. PowerBuilder 6.5 build 615
Could anybody using the build 615 of PowerBuilder 6.5 give some feedback? What are the reasons that people are using it? Are there any new problems with 615? Thanks. Timothy Madsen TMadsen@cdphp.com Build 615 is an Emergency Bug Fix (EBF). It is not publically available, but available for solving specific problems through Sybase Tech Support. EBFs are unit tested, not integration tested, so they are known to be risky affairs. Unless you've got a killer problem that can't be worked around, you're morely likely to be better off waiting for 6.5.01, IMHO. Good luck...

6.5.1 vs. 6.5 Build 444
We currently do development work/builds using version 6.5 build 444 on Windows 98 machines. Our machines are set to be upgraded to Windows XP with Powerbuilder version 6.5.1. Will this upgrade impact our current build environment, meaning if we do new Powerbuilder builds using XP w/ 6.5.1 will the pibbles, etc. still work on Windows 95/98? In theory, the platform doesn't make a difference, although anecdotally there's some difference of opinion. Some people claim there is a difference. I'd worry more about changing PB versions. Every sub-version has a different set ...

How to identify build for PowerBuilder 6.5.1

Thanks, Randy wawork@hotmail.com Find the file pbvm60.dll in Windows Explorer, right-click on it and bring up the properties dialog. PowerBuilder 6.5 Unable to build executable
Hi, I do have a problem with creating an executable with PowerBuilder 6.5. My application was originally developed with PB 5.0.04 and the appropriate pfc's. I migrated all the PBL's to 6.5 and still use the pfc's of PB 5.0.04. My application executes in the runtime environment. But I get a GPF when I try to build an executable. Problem with PowerBuilder 6.5 build 1326 EBF
We had built a client/server application that is used in more that 100 clients. We are using the version 6.5.1 of PowerBuilder and we have a problem with big datawindows when users scroll intensively. The application freezes and the controls are not refreshed or drawn properly. We had installed the EBF 6.5 build 1326 that correct this problem however, this fix had create another problem. With this fix the SetFilter datawindow method triggers a RowFocusChanging event. This causes very big problems in our application so by now we cannot use this fix. We made a test with a very sma...
