Summary: While using Thunderbird, I attempted to send an e-mail using all the addresses in my address book. After I clicked "send," a box appeared that read "Invalid address syntax." Any suggestions
I checked the e-mail recipients addresses and they all appeared to be
fine. Would it make a difference if the recipients name was next to his
e-mail address (i.e. "Freeland, Bruce" <firstname.lastname@example.org>).

Not AFAIK - you can only have one default email program.
The date and time was 2/26/2008 2:30 PM, and on a whim,
email@example.com pounded out on the keyboard:

How do I stop the Microsoft Office Outlook Allow/Deny dialog box from
appearing "A program is trying to send an e-mail message on your
behalf" from appearing?
SQL Anywhere Monitor 126.96.36.1990

When attempting to run "Send Test Email" after setting up SQL Anywhere

"A program is trying to send an e-mail message on your behalf".
When I click on Allow, the test email is sent OK.
I have tried the following:

I'm trying to send an email from my PB10 application,
running on one our servers, but the Outlook warning
message("A program is trying to send an email......Allow,
Deny, Help) is displayed. Obviously, nobody will be
standing at the server to click 'Allow', so is there a way
around this message?

<George...Sending email, but get the error : could not access "CDO.Message" object
Hi, I use .NET component to write an email sending component. I set the SmtpServer to an internet SMTP server which is used in my outlook express. When I send the email, I got the following error:
could not access "CDO.Message" object
what is the reason? How to solve?
Thank you in advance.
You are most likely not authenticating to the SMTP server....Error when I try to send an email
I've got some very basic code to send an email and I'm getting an error that's rather odd. To my understanding, CDO is the base data object in the SmtpMail class. So does this mean it's unsuccessfully accessing the MailMessage object I'm passing in? Does this mean that I don't have SMTP on my box ('cause I don't) but the Smtp object is pointing to a vaild mail server.
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

When working in MS Word 2000, if "File > Send To > Mail Recipient (as
Attachment)" is chosen, a GroupWise email will start properly and the first
line of the Word document will be the "Subject" of the email. If the
"Subject" is changed and then the email is printed before sending the email,
the printout will still show the old subject that was put there
automatically by GroupWise, even though it was changed before printing.
When the email is sent, the new subject line is correctly sent, though.

So, I've had thunderbird for a while, and I sorta remember this
happening before... but I can't remember how it fixed itself, or what
I did to fix the situation...
When I send myself a message from my thunderbird account to my hotmail
account, I get the message... but when I send a message from my
hotmail account to thunderbird (or if someone else sends a message to
my thunderbird), I don't receive the message. What is happening and
what can I do? No one knows I'm not getting their messages, and I
need to get my messages! Help me please!
On Or About ...Sporadic problem sending messages. Alert window "Sending Messages" remains open.
64 bit Windows 7 with SM 2.0.11 connected via DSL to ATT.
It seems to have started after the 2.0.11 update.
I have a POP mail account with Yahoo (where ever ATT sold us to)
and an IMAP account at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
I have now had this happen on both accounts.
Sending a message will put up a
"Sending Messages - With subject of the message" alert box.
Inside the box is a line labeled "Status: delivering message" or
"Status: Copy ..." , a "Progress: bar", and a "Cancel" button.
- The alert gets to "...Converting a "send Message" to an email?
When something happens on my Novell server I get a message stating the
problem through the "send message". I was wondering if it was possible to
change those messages to an email?
only if you have some sort of smtp alert system that can send you a message via

Sometimes (I haven't been able to establish exactly when), the "Sending

message has actually been sent in these cases, but it is an annoyance.
I'm using SM 2.0.4, Mac OS 10.5.8.
