At runtime I get the following error:

DataWindow Error: The PowerBuilder Desktop edition does not
support stored procedures.

What does this mean?

The desktop edition is only allows odbc connections to desktop databases
like Access.  Connecting to DBs like Oracle aren't supported in that
version - that's what I read last.

That you need to upgrade to Professional or Enterprise if you want to use
those.
