Dear All,

I am confused by those terms:

computed column
computed field
calculated column
calculated field

Could anyone explain a little bit to me?

For example, if I have a 'column A + column B' in my select (will appear =
in my detail band), what would this be called?

Plus, if I have a 'count' in my footer/summary band, what would this be =
called?

Thank you very much.=20

If you have column 'column A + column B' in your select statement then =
it is called computed column or calculated column.

If you have 'count' in footer/summary band then it is called computed =
field or calculated field.

Thanks,
Anand Kumar
