Try checking the serverstart.bat or the serverstart_jdk12.bat and make sure
the JDK_LATEST environment variable is being set correctly. I ran into a
similiar problem yesturday and my .bat file was a little off..

Sounds like you have a listener problem which is caused by one fo two things.
a) You don't have a listener set up correctly (Listeners are defined in .props files
in the jaguar repository\server\listeners directory)
b) You already have Jaguar running and the listeners are being used. Common if you
installed Jaguar as a Service and then are trying to run it using the manual
methods. Look under Control Panel\Services and see if Jaguar is in fact installed as
a service.

Can't base report on stored procedure--'Can't create Datawindow'
I installed IM65 today to give it a try. I made a db config to our local ASE 11.9.2 engine via Sybase' odbc driver that came with 11.9.2. I start a new report, tell it to be tabular and to get data from a SP. It asks which SP and I tell it. The result is an odbc error: Cannot create DataWindow Intersolv SQL ODBC driver: Incorrect syntax near '='. 1 execute dbo.sp_si_addressbest_;0 RETURN_VALUE = :RETURN_VALUE' I can execute the SP fine from SQL Advantage or from Crytal Reports. Can't Start Jaguar Server
The Jaguar server will not start. I receive the following error message: An error occurred in operating the Jaguar server. Please check the console and server log file. Press any key to continue... The only thing that's changed between when Jaguar was working and not working is that I installed the EAF.JAR file (available from Cynergy Systems framework). After deploying that JAR file, installing existing package EAF, and generating/compiling the stubs, I could not start Jaguar server. Any ideas? Can't start Jaguar Manager
I am unable to start the Jaguar Manager. To troubleshoot, I tried starting it from a DOS prompt and I get the error: Can't find class sybase/scf/controller/MainController. I can guess that the source of this problem is related to the fact that I am not logged onto NT under the ID that I installed EA Studio with, but I'd like to use both logon IDs. I wouldn't think that a java application would rely on Registry/Environment settings, but I'm guessing that it does. Any help much appreciated, Vince My guess is that the CLASSPATH is being set at the user level and...

Cheers Dave -- Dave Parkes [NSCS] Occasionally resident at http://support-forums.novell.com/ You have deleted the library in C1. Then run a manual GWCheck against the PO with the analyze/fix library. They Can't Crack What They Can't Find
They Can't Crack What They Can't Find noeld@rootprompt.org The Internet today is a jungle full of predators. Some of these predators are trying to crack your machine others are just looking for a machine to crack. By using the firewalling tools built into the Linux kernel it is possible to make a desktop machine virtually disappear from the crackers view. I will use ipchains and the firewalling built into the Linux kernel to protect the services that are ...
