17 December 2001: Recent updates at www.sypron.nl
-------------------------------------------------

Thanks to Raymond Mardle, there is now a quick reference guide
for ASIQ:
    http://www.sypron.nl/asiq_qref.html

Raymond also produced a quick reference guide for Historical Server:
    http://www.sypron.nl/hs_qref.html

A new ASE Quiz question: in 12.5, you can have long strings of 16Kb.
But can you also store these ?

"The Complete Sybase ASE Quick Reference Guide" is finding its
way to ever more places around the world -- including to places
where you wouldn't probably immediately expect ASE to be used,
such as Cyprus, Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, Barbados, Bermuda and
Greece. I haven't seen any orders from the North Pole yet, but Santa
can still order this book online at
    http://www.sypron.nl/qr

Two weeks ago, I got the opportunity give my opinion on some of
Larry Ellison's statements on Sybase. The resulting story
("Sybase strikes back") is interesting:
