Patchworks not able to run on non english windows
I installed Patch Management on a german Windows 2000 Server SP3. When I try to start the Web browser application, I receive a 500 Internal Server Error. What can I do to correct this?
To obtain more information about this error i switched off the short error messages of IIS:
Internet Exlorer / Advanced: switch of "Show friendly HTTP error messages".
After switching off, we get the following error message:

We inserted for alone the "Case "Westeurop�ische Normalzeit".
That depends on the language of the windows version.
You have to look in the registry keys to make it running.
So patchlink has not localized patchworks for german servers!
After this change in GLOBAL.ASA the web page is running and you can login. But after clicking on "Packages" you get the next error message "IE = wahr". The try to check, if the browser is IE, but the function gives back "wahr" instead of "true" and the browser check fails.
All in all it's a waste of time to fix it alone. Patchlink has to customize it.
Could Novell ask Patchlink to make it running on non english windows?

This may not be the right place. I have a question: In ascii characters , a-z are all characters and the rest are all escape characters. We can use regular expression as \w and \W respectively. But in other languages like Japanese or Chinese have different type of full stop, but in regular expression they all related to \W including their characters. Hi. I wonder if any of you ever encountered a problem when reading UTF8 files with BOM in a non-English Windows environment (e.g. Windows 7 with system locale set to Chinese, Traditional, Taiwan...). When compiled with DelphiXE - program recognizes these files without problems - right (Chinese) characters are generated. But when compiled with DelphiXE2 - program does not recognize UTF8 files with BOM, they consider everything as a single line instead of several lines.
