agent ID key does not exist

I have an evaluation version of Zenworks with the patch management
solution from PatchLink. I can not get it to deploy the patches and I
think it has something to do with the agent.

I ran the Patch Link Update Server Diagnostic Tool and found that the
Agent ID registration had failed and that a key does not exist. This is
the same for the agent account ID and agent path. The agent install text
line reads that the agent did not register succesfully. In the PatchLink
server console under subscription status the agent commuication frequency
returns an error that states the key is not found.

How do I fix these agent registration problems? PatchLink won't help me
because I have a Novell version and Novell won't help me because I have a
free trial version. Any insight would be grately appreciated.

I too have the same situation, it also states the the SQL agent is not
running which is not true, both the agent and the manager are active. We
would like to give this product a serious consideration but we must have
full-functionality in order to determine its effectiveness. Any help
would surely be appreciated.
Thanks

Have you heard any thing from novell about my issue with the agent ID key
not exising? My evaluation period is going by and I need to do this
testing. If you can not get me an answer, where can I go to get one?

Thank you Shaun.

I did speak to the product manager on Sunday, he's promised to try to
get answers. Otherwise, I'd advise that you open a Service Request with
Novell...

How would I go about putting in a service request with Novell? Also,
would they help me because I have an evaluation version? I don't think
they will.

Any word from the product manager?
