Re: HTTP 401 - Unauthorized

Applied sp4a and still get the error. Have not applied sp5 yet, because of
company policy. Have also tried the TID10097177 suggested in this thread
from Jun 1, still no go. I have to work on our cluster this weekend and
might open service call with novell on this issue.

Here is the error I get in the apache log:
[Thu Jun 22 19:20:39 2006] [warn] [client 10.1.6.75] [2] auth_ldapdn
authenticate: user XXXX authentication failed; URI /ipps/IppSrvr [LDAP:
ldap_simple_bind_s() failed][Can't contact LDAP server]
[Thu Jun 22 19:20:39 2006] [error] [client 10.1.6.75] no acceptable
variant: SYS:/apache2/error/HTTP_UNAUTHORIZED.html.var

Like providing a working fork(), supply a working select() (not now, but in due time) This wil have quite some impact on alle the workarounds that have been made in perl to do just the same thing...., probability is that all new behaviour will only work after defining some logicals. More power to your elbow! Keep up the good work! and all that ... But aren't you digging yourself into a maintenance nightmare? What happens when Configure gets updated, as happens not infrequently? Shouldn't you instead be working on a version of metaconfig which generates perl rather than shell scripts? Or is the cunning plan to make a preemptive attack on 5.7, and...
