Updated to Firefox 3.5.3, but version still lists as 3.5.2 (Mac OS X 10.4.11 on G4)
.. . . After upgrading to 3.5.3 (and doing a browser-menu Help>Release
Notes opening a tab showing it's 3.5.3), I find the computer's
hierarchical listing of applications still shows version 3.5.2, and
selecting its icon for a command-get info brings a window identifying
it as version 3.5.2. I can't find any other version of Firefox with a
later installation date or in a different location on the computer, a

I have run the 6.5.2 client of Groupwise fine on my Mac. When I upgraded to version 6.5.3, it will
not open. The icon bounces once and quits. I have tried creating a new account to verify it is
not a corrupted user account. It appears that the Groupwise 6.5.3 program doesn't like
something on my system which is a Powerbook 15" (alum), 1 Gb, 1.5 Ghz and running OS X
10.3.5. I have resisted upgrading to the newer OS'es because of some of the problems
associated with them.

Summary: Firefox 3.5.2 for Mac OS X 10.5.7. The save and quit feature when closing down several tabs no longer works.
When I close Firefox with four or five tabs open I use the save and quit
function so that when I next launch Firefox all the tabs are opened up
again so that I can continue browsing where I left off. On your 3.5.2
update this feature no longer works. I save and quit and when I
relaunch all I get is my homepage.
Also the clear private data feature seems to be missing...Sybase ASE 12.5.2 or 12.5.3 on RH Enterprise 2.x or 3.x

Summary: Firefox 5.5.2 + Mac OS X 10.6.2 causes Google Apps to crash
I installed Firefox 5.5.2 yesterday, as well as the Mac OS X 10.6.2 update, and now I cannot load
any Google App (Gmail, Reader) to load without the browser crashing. I have tried disabling all
of my extensions, redownloading and installing Firefox again, and even temporarily removing
my preferences folder to fully "reset" Firefox, and none of them worked to prevent crashing.

We are experiencing GW 8.0.1 lock-ups on *some* of our Mac (power pc)
machines. I have been chasing this for several weeks without reporting
it because I couldn't find anything reproducible.
Now I at least have a lead. I took an office poll of our Mac client
users and those who have Firefox 3.5.2 or later installed are
experiencing crashes, but those who only use Safari are fine.
