Time sync and removing a server

We have 4 Netware 6.5 servers. I want to remove one. This is = what I had done thus far. 1) Demoted servers replica copy to Read/Write and promoted another server = to hold the Master copy of the replica 2) Demoted server time setting to secondary and promoted another server to = single DSRepair shows everything is ok. I had to change the time on the servers this AM and now Synthetic time is = being used. =20 My question is, does Synthetic time effect the removal of eDirectory on a = server when I run the nwconfig / remove eDirectory to take the server out? = Or is it ok to run that even though time is not fully syncronized? Hi! I have just noticed that the IDM internal time is at least 12 hrs slower than my server's time. I noticed this when I tried to search for workflows in User App that I have executed in the morning by searching for the request date on the current date. There were no workflows displayed unless I submit yesterday's date and the results actually returned a portion of yesterday's workflows and the workflow executed in the morning of the current date. We currently have a netware 5 netware using cluster services 1(first ver) on 2 of the netware 5 servers. We want to install a new san and a cluster for it using two netware 6 servers clustered using the newer cluster services which is include with netware 6. Upgrading a Netware 5.1 server to Netware 6.5
I am part of a large tree. Before starting upgrade of Netware 5.1 server to Netware 6.5 I ran dsrepair and received no errors. During the Health check of the upgrade I received two warnings. They are Warning extend schema and repair schema. All the primary servers in the tree have already been upgraded to Netware 6.5. The admin of the primary servers control extend the schema. I am trying to find out if the warnings I received is something they need to repair or is there something else I need to do on my own server? I would appreciated any help I can get. Thanks Michel...

I just install a NetWare 6 server but even with monitor loaded my server didn't go into a screen saver mode, I was just wondering if there was one like the old 4x. Can't get my netware server to reach an NTP time server
I typed inetcfg->bindings->tcpip tcip advanced binding configuration. Enabled router discovery. I can ping my default Gateway 192.168.1.1 but I can't get out to the internet. I am still confused as to where I can set my default gateway. Since I can't set an ntp time server my time might drift off again. Need to get my netware 5.0 server out to internet.
