Solution to imanger 2.02 install failing during upgrade to NetWare 6.5 sp3
Hi all, I have found that in doing an upgrade to NetWare 6.5 sp3(overlay) my install would fail every time with 1 error something about null and you must install imanager manually. I followed numerous tids to no avail (recreated new ssl ldap certificate, ran tcedirInt.ncf and tckeygen.ncf) . I noticed on two of my servers it installed with no errors and on all others the install of imanger 2.02 would fail. The problem is you need to have an ldap proxy username configured on the LDAP server group object for the server you are installing imanager. If you do not have this configured...

TCP/IP upgrade fails
Hi, Last week I tried to upgrade the TCP/IP on my servers by applying the non-encryptied files found in update tcp583l.exe. After copying the files in the Null folder to the sys:\system subdirectories and then restarting the servers TCP and TCP/IP would not load because the server could not find IPSHIMP.NLM and NETLIB.NLM. I had to restore the old TCP/IP NLMs in order to start up GroupWise and Arcserve 7. Even though the documentation said that this update can only be installed on a Netware 5.2 server with SP3 or later applied I could only find the above missing files on SP5. No...

2.3.2 update failed on XP limited user, upgraded from Admin, but limited user still sees "upgrade failed"
On a Windows XP system my daughter uses, she runs SeaMonkey from a regular/limited user account. The 2.3.2 upgrade was attempted, but failed. I then performed the upgrade from an administrator account, successfully. However, when using the limited user account, SeaMonkey reports "upgrade failed" whenever it starts. IManager fails after upgrade from 2.5.2 to 2.7.2
Attempted to upgrade IManager per readme from 2.5.2 to 2.7.2. Done for windows 7 iprint support. After upgrade when IManager launches, login screen is fine, but on initial screen all roles are listed down the left side but no icons across top (Home, configure, etc). Never done upgrade before. Have a 2.1.2 site w/many custom (purchased) modules, some of which are no longer supported. Don't see *any* info in 3.1 install docs for 2.1.2 upgrade?

Netware 4.2 TCP/IP Support
We have a Novell Netware 4.2 Sever and would like to upgrade our network to wireless. To do this however, we have to enable/install a TCP/IP interface on the server. Does anyone know how/if this can be done? If not for this version of Novell, is it supported for a later version? I have tried several CD's (original Novell and Burned ISO downloads) and every time I do an upgrade of a Netware 6 SP5 server, something fails. It fails to copy files and your only choice is to skip the file and move on. This has happened on different hardware, so I don't think I can blame specific hardware. It happends using different cd's so I don't think that is the issue. Has anyone else seen this? Is there an "good" set of ISO's to download.
