Yes, not from the logs, but from the HTTP interface. Look at the
connections and there are all of the users and their client type and
version listed before your eyes ;-)

Groupwise Client install
Hey all, This may not be the right area again but here goes. I just installed Groupwise 7, POA, MTA, GWIA, and Webaccess. The software distribution directory update of the client works fine, only, we can not do it because we have clients across a slow wan link. In the past we used the ZEN aot/axt object and put the files on their local server for them to update locally. Now, the zen stuff is gone. No problem, there is this SetupIP thing that is out there. While I read the readme on how to do it, I still have no clue on how to actually put it up on a web server. How do I ...

install a server at a remote site or just install the groupwise client
I am going to have a few users (5 to 10) at site that will be remote from our current site. I am proposing that they still keep using our groupwise email and am wondering if I should have them access their email via the regular groupwise client attaching to the groupwise server from a remote site or if I should set up a secondary domain and postoffice on that site and have it communicate with the primary domain accross the internet via ip. I am anticipating that there will be a DSL line or a cable modem line for the remote site to access the internet. We have some remote use...

Groupwise registry Cleaning agent- Groupwise client
Is there a more recent registry cleaning agent for groupwise IS the one listed on novell Is from 2000, and is only up to groupwise ep sp1, is it valid to use for 5.5 enhancement pack clients above sp1?? and is there a registry cleanup for groupwise 6 clients Brent, The cleaning agent listed is valid for all versions of GW5.5. For a cleaning agent designed with GW6 in mind, the author's site (http://www.nexic.com ) has an updated version availabe, which can be run as a NAL object. However, it does cost. Slow login into Windows GroupWise Client without Netware Client installed
Hi, Customers GroupWise version is GroupWise 7.02HP1a with GroupWise 702 Agent Hot Patch 2 Rev 1 SP2 installed on a Netware 6.5 SP6 Server. The users don't have access to the Netware filesystem (no Netware cient, cifs or anything else). The login needs nearly a minute after entering the login credentials. I tried to remove the sdd - same problem. Although I know GroupWise 7 supports a restore area without direct file access I removed the postoffice from the member list of the restore area - same problem. Maybe I have to reboot the poa after doing that? I cross-checked wi...

Groupwise Client Zenworks Install
So, probably to start an old topic, but I can't get zenworks to install the client if the user doesn't have local admin rights. I had the same problem on Groupwise 7 too. Tried MSI's, AOT's etc and followed a few TIDs and the docs but they fail. Is there a lovely tutorial or instructions anywhere? Installing the GroupWise Client for all users
I have seen several threads requesting Start Menu and Send To icons be installed for all users, not just the current user. For those who would like to see this change, would you like it to be an option visible to the user? For example, on the Setup Type dialog (the one with the Typical/Custom options), I could add another option saying: Install this application for: - Anyone who uses this computer - Only for me This option would default to "Anyone who uses this computer". It would also be configurable through setup.cfg or gwtuner. Or is this really an option many ...

GroupWise Clients that Cache do not update their GroupWise Address books
I am running GroupWise 6.0 Sp3 POA/MTA/GWIA/WEBACCESS and clients. Some of my employees are running their GroupWise in Cache mode and some are running in Online mode. I added a new employee to the GroupWise post office at noon yesterday and it now approx. 8:00 am the next day and the Cache clients do not see the new employees name in their contacts list. However the Online and Webaccess clients do. Why are the Cache clients so slow to update, they get mail OK? I noticed this when I added a contact in Webaccess and it took three days to get to my Cache address book. I have t...

How to access Groupwise 6 mailbox from Groupwise 5 client
We have just installed a Groupwise 6 post office and are gradually moving our Groupwise 5 users onto the system. The Groupwise 5 post office still exists and is used by the majority of our users.
