Notify only sometimes notifies
Hello! As I have a flatrate now I thought it would be a good thing to put Groupwise Notify in the Autostart folder. The problem I have is the folowing: Notify starts when Windows starts as I wanted this - when I get a new message Notify tells me about that - but when I get another message a few minutes later Notify does not recognize this anymore. We have an employee who started experiencing problems with Notify in the last few days - prior to this it was working as expected. She will receive notification on all e-mails, but it never notifies on appointments. When you look at actions on an appointment, "alarm" is checked. I normally use Groupwise 6 as my email client as its provided for me by my university, but im working on a machine on which i cant install the client. I can access my email via the web interface, but it would be really handy to have notification of emails arriving. Is there a way to install only the handy Groupwise Notify program, or some other way of being notified of emails arriving? Notify stops notifying on WinXP
GW 5.5.5 client 4.9 NW client on windows XP Pro. At some point during the day notify stops notifying with the pop up window. If you run GW client, several new messages may be there. GroupWise Notify
I have users with XP machines that are having problems with the GroupWise Notify Startup Splash screen. What happens is it will pop up when Notify is opened, and the screen will stay there. Notify will finish loading but the title screen stays on the desktop. The only way I've found around it is to close Notify and re-open it. Anyone have a permanent fix? client notify
I set up so I am notified when another account gets mail. If I send a mail to the other account, I will not notify my. If I close notify, and start it back up, it shows the email there. Groupwise / Groupwise Notify
Our office recently upgraded our comuptuers from GW-6 to GW-7. It used to be in GW-6, we would 'login' to groupwise notifier upon system startup, which would allow us to open and exit groupwise throughout the day without logging in with a password again (the notifier would continue to run on the taskbar). With the upgrade something got changed, and now it seems that when we exit groupwise, it automatically closes out Notifier, forcing us to login with a password each time.
