Signatures and Proxy with GroupWise 6.5.2

Client: GroupWise 6.5.2 recently upgraded from 5.2.6
System: GroupWise 6.5.2 recently upgraded from 5.2.6

When a UserA proxies into userB's email and wants to reply to a email
sent from there she wants to add her own signature. With the
GroupWise 5.2.6 client when the client was set to prompt for signature
it would prompt her, display and add her signature and then send the
email from the proxied account.

With the GroupWise 6.5.2 client the user is prompted for her signature
but the box is empty. She can type in any info she wants but it used
to automatically put her signature in place. Any thoughts?

The difference is the signature is stored in the user db not the registry in
6.5 (and in fact all post GW 5.2). So I'm sure it's related to that, and
might be by design, though I admit the logic escapes me.

Thats not what I wanted to hear. If we called Novell about it and it

Yes, if it is not a bug. But you can call to file a bug report for free.

Michael,

Novell has confirmed that what GroupWise 5.2.6 was able to do
GroupWise 6.5 can not. This is indeed by design.
