Groupwise 5.5 SP4 password only for groupwise client, not POP3 or IMAP
In a Netware 4.2 SP9, Groupwise 5.5 SP4 system, the need for IMAP

Hello. Currently running GW6 client and server(sorry, not sure of which sp). Looking at a way to have a personal folder deleted automatically after a period of time without deleting mail in other folders. I have looked at the tool-options-envirnment-cleanup, and that won't work for this situation. Thanks.

Our company was just acquired (never happens these days) by another company that has an exchange server.
We're trying to keep our GW for at least the near future and want to just 'POP' and SMTP through the Exchange server. I can receive messages no problem, but can't send. When I send, I get the super-duper descriptive error message, 'Service not Available'. How do I track down where the SMTP is failing?
I can send from Outlook Express, so I assume it's something within the Groupwise client that is having issues with the SMTP service on the Exchange serve...Client 4.9.1 and groupwise client
I have just upgraded from client 4.9.0 to 4.9.1. Under 490 I was able to
check the Single Sign on button on my groupwise notify (6.5.4) and not
have it ask for the password every time. Now that I have loaded 491 I check
the box but it doesnt have an affect. I have checked the Single sign on
check box in the clients properties.

I'm trying to run both the Outlook client and the GroupWise client

Outlook 2003 was running fine until I installed the GroupWise

Outlook now it shows the Outlook window in the background but then the

I think the answer is no, but I would like to make sure. I am installing GW7 on a test email system and we are running GW 65 on our production system. Is there any way I can run the 6.5 client (to connect to our production system) and the 7 client (to connect to our test system) on the same machine (Win XP). I dont need to run them at the same time, but would like to have them on the same machine.
Doubt it, too many common named files within the system directories
