As part of a research project on bug reports, I'd like to do some
automated analysis of the bug reports on Mozilla.
Is there a way to get a local copy of the Bugzilla database (preferably
without attachments)? Whom might I contact about this?
Thanks,
~Jeff

Got an install that works great except all my urls for bugs start with a
mozilla url ie.

Bugzilla Error when importing data from Linux MySQL to Windows MySQLHi.
I have successfully upgraded a Linux version of Bugzilla from 2.22 to
3.6.3 and mysqldump the data to an sql file.
I then imported the sql file into the bugs database on a Windows
Bugzilla 3.6.3 installation.
All data is now visible within MySQL browser.
I have then attempted to run up the Bugzilla application and I receive
this error message

Migrating from Bugzilla 2.14 to Bugzilla 2.18 and new MySql DBHi,
I would like to migrate/upgrade our Bugzilla 2.14 installation to
Bugzilla 2.18 that would use different MySql DB (4.x). We are using
MySql 4.x for Roller blogs hosting, and it would be good idea to use
the same MySql DB for both, Roller blogs and Buzilla (that is the
reason for DB mighration); currently we are running two instances of
MySql, 3.x for Bugzilla, 4.x for Roller blog.
What is the best way to export/import, move, migrate a Bugzilla bug
DB to the new DB? Is XML export/import way to go, or DB dump or ??
Thanks, Lubos

Can I backup Bugzilla database while people are still using Bugzilla ? Will MySQL database crash ?Hi,
=20
Just a quick question about Bugzilla database. If I want to back up the
MySQL database for Bugzilla, can I run the mysql dump command while our
company is still using Bugzilla. I know the data will not be most
updated if someone files/edits a new bug or something, but I am just
wondering if it will crash Bugzilla (or MySQL database) when backing up
the database while people are still accessing/modifying it. Thank you so

1. Upgrade the MySQL/2.18 to 2.22. (Follow the upgrade instructions in
the release notes.)
2. Run checksetup in a Pg version of 2.22.
3. Use contrib/bzdbcopy.pl. ...
