message not posting at support.thunderbird

I've been trying to post a message relating to a sorting issue
with TB newsgroup m.s.TB that included a screenshot attachment
showing the problem, (The problem being a few June 2010 posts
amidst the descending sort predominately from Oct 2011).

Are "attachments" un-supported even though the option to do
so are enabled?

This news server is hosted by Giganews, which does not allow binary 
attachments.

If you want to include a screenshot, you can upload it to an image 
hosting site like Flickr, Photobucket, or Picasaweb.

The sort problem had its roots in the fact that there was a
reply made on the 30th of October 2011 to a post originally
dated June 30 of 2010. So, TB sorted the list based on the
most recent reply.  That wouldn't be my choice, but I wasn't
asked to vote.
