This started mid-day I don't know what to look for in Tools / options or other configuration. I can't get the remote images to load. I don't get the prompt any more. I tried it with Thunderbird Safe mode. I tried it with Thunderbird No Extensions Here is an example screen capture http://lts.cr/Q_Z What to do? Carl

Is it all messages with remote images, or just this particular message. You can send yourself a message with the following inserted with Insert>html Paste in the following: <img alt="" src="http://img253.imageshack.us/img253/37/tb150pw.jpg" moz-do-not-send="true" height="238" width="292"> Then send it to yourself. Thanks for that! It was the View Messages (set to simple html) ...and yes, I am the one who did it earlier in the day for a different issue. I did it to my self. Thanks for saving my sanity! Carl
