Does Thunderbird support "Message Rules" for both POP and IMAP email accounts? Just uncovered that with Windows Live Mail, one can't use rules for IMAP or HTTP accounts. Thanks in advance

Thunderbird also supports filtering on incoming messages for News accounts. You have to understand some consequences using the rules on IMAP messages, though. Therefore, I only mark those message as deleted (see Tb's Account Settings for the server). ------ Note: I dropped the other Newsgroup on this reply. -- Kind regards, Melchert (MacOS 10.3.9 / Firefox 2.0, Thunderbird 2.0)

I will therefore start using Thunderbird going forward. Sorry about the cross-posting -- didn't know about this.
