Hi there and a Happy New Year! I've installed SM 2.53.6 Beta 1 (Windows 10 x64) and encountered the following reproducible behaviour: 1. Start a fresh SeaMonkey browser instance 2. Press F12 to open the Web Development Tools 3. Press Ctrl+2 to open the mail client Result: The folder and message lists are empty. This only seems to happen when the developer tools are open. Not sure if this is new in 2.53.6.

The top level for each account is displayed correctly, but the folder pane and the contents of non-top-level folders are empty. It looks as if the text is just being hidden, as the statusbar changes when "selecting" the hidden folders. /df -- London UK
