Seamonkey Nightly and Aurora not building for either X86 32 bit or the X86_64 platforms

The current build, Version 2.27a1, is the most recent build of Seamonkey Nightly that I have, and it has Build identifier: 20140214003001 = 2/17/2014.

I understand that there are build server issues. Have you considered using a different build server so that we can eliminate these long lapses between Nightly Builds?

I am concerned that there is inadequate testing going on for the Linux 32 and 64 bit platforms. Can we apply a bit of extra effort to get these platforms building again soon please?

It looks like a second build of 2.26b was initiated on 4/9 and is
still being built.

SeaMonkey nightly builds
Hi all, I want to give everyone some heads up on our state of nightly builds: The Mozilla Foundation/Corporation build team has set up a new machine for us that generates SeaMonkey trunk Mac nightly builds, and they even switched it to generating a universal binary - and yes, SVG and <canvas> are enabled now as well. They may still change this to a different machine some time, but Mac trunk nightlies are back, usable on both PPC and Intel Macs, hopefully. Paul Reed from that team has also promised to work on including PalmSync again on our Windows builds, setting up ...

Seamonkey trunk versus Seamonkey branch nightlies
On the ftp site, are there different Seamonkeys try out, for ex. Seamonkey trunk versus Seamonkey branch? Or are they all trunk? Seamonkey Windows nightly builds
Hello everyone, While I know a lot needs still to happens to bring back the "official" SeaMonkey Windows builds (nightlies), I wonder if someone would be willing to share its own builds for testing purposes. I am not enough of a developer to build them on my own, but I would gladly try to help here. Note to the Seamonkey Devs: Pretty god job done, I hope the donation site is up soon to help financially ! I also hope the "official" Win builds come back soon too. Best regards, dominique On 03/02/2015 01:21, Dominique wrote: > Hello everyone, &g...

SeaMonkey nightly build Jan 30
Name: Colin Peel Email: peel_at_univ-perp.fr Product: Other (please state) Summary: SeaMonkey nightly build Jan 30 Comments: Scrambling round databanks and jumping from page to page has got much better. (The slow part so far was getting through to you). On the other hand, the first run of a new build has been an improvement in the past. It's on later runs that everything gets bogged down. Why are SeaMonkey nightly trunk builds failing for sv-SE?
Hello We have some problem getting nightly builds for SeaMonkey trunk. After much work by Peter, our SeaMonkey localizer, we finally succeeded yesterday with a green Tinderbox build. But unfortunately the nightly build is still burning for some reason. http://tinderbox.mozilla.org/showlog.cgi?log=Mozilla-l10n-sv- SE/1288095452.1288095687.27310.gz I don't see what is wrong there, other than the grep'ing for ".sv- SE.linux-i686.complete.mar" in the nightly FTP dir probably won't succeed since we haven't had any mar files for sv-SE yet. What do we ne...

Current state of the SeaMonkey tree (no nightly builds atm)
Hi, as some people might have already noticed there are currently no new nightly builds. This is due to multiple reasons: - Linux buildboxen need to be updated to Python 2.7 (currently running Python 2.6) to build comm-central/mozilla-central - Windows buildboxen need a fix in the build system as currently the path of the directory it builds in is too long for a few test files (tracked in Bug 829481) - The build system itself (buildbot) needs some maintenance so it has been taken down Hopefully the most urgent problems will be resolved this week. Automatic Updates Enabled for SeaMonkey nightly (trunk) builds.
All, Seeing as I checked in the patch yesterday, I thought I'd better just let you all know that we've now enabled automatic updates on the SeaMonkey nightly (trunk/2.0a1pre) builds. The default is enabled, and it will check daily. You can, of course, change this via preferences, and request a manual update by Help -> Check For Updates. If you download a nightly build, then you will automatically be on the "nightly" channel. If you build SeaMonkey yourself, you will be on the "default" channel and hence get no updates (which you don't rea...
