FF duly informs me that there's an update available. Fine. I d/l the update, agree to restart FF once it's installed, and ... it's still at 2.0.0.6? What's going on here? Any suggestions would be very welcome. Ken |

Do you see the update firefox menu entry or is there an blinking circle on that place. |

Nothing untoward with the Help/Check for updates... it does check and d/l and go through all the motions ... but then doesn't actually update. Your suggestion of a re-install would seem to make sense, Ron (though what a pain!). Where's the profile kept? and is there a way to preserve all my plug-ins and their settings. Thanks both for your kind responses. Best, Ken |

There you find everything about the profile. |

There *could* be issues with plugins (not extensions), though. -- |

There we go: installed the whole thing and installed 2.0.0.11 -- perfect, plugins and all. Thanks for your suggestions. |
