LDAP and Active Directory

Has anyone had luck with using Active Directory as the LDAP Auth server
for Bugzilla?

=20

I edited the params  file

=20

'LDAPbinddn' =3D> ' =
CN=3DAdministrator,CN=3DUsers,DC=3Dhq,DC=3Ddomainname,DC=3Dnet',

=20

And

=20

'user_verify_class' =3D> 'LDAP',

=20

'LDAPserver' =3D> 'domaincontroller',

=20

=20

Here is the error I get

=20

Failed to bind to the LDAP server. The error message was: No password,
did you mean noauth or anonymous ?

=20

So then I added the password

=20

'LDAPbinddn' =3D> '
CN=3DAdministrator:password,CN=3DUsers,DC=3Dhq,DC=3Ddomainname,DC=3Dnet',=

=20

=20

Then I get this error

=20

Failed to bind to the LDAP server. The error message was: 80090308:
LdapErr: DSID-0C090334, comment: AcceptSecurityContext error, data 525,
vece

=20

Any help would greatly be appreciated

Thank you

LDAP with Active Directory
I have spent many hours searching the web and news groups, but none of the suggestions I've tried have worked. When I try to configure Bugzilla to authenticate users using LDAP, I get "Failed to bind to the LDAP server". Nothing I've tried changes this error message. However, we CAN successfully authenticate users using AD from other web applications (using ColdFusion), so I don't think it's an AD configuration problem. LDAP with eDirectory and Active Directory?
Howdy, I currently have a GW6.5 SP5 system (eDir 8.7.3) and uses the LDAP integration to authenticate to GroupWise. We have one site that is Active Directory only (i.e., they will have only an Active Directory server and will not authenticate to eDirectory) - I'd like to use the full Windows client on those workstations, but I'm not certain how I would set up - can I add a Windows LDAP server to my GroupWise system without causing problems for my eDirectory users? As far as I know (never done it though) LDAP authentication and AD is a bit of pain (if it works at all). What you could do is to use IDM with password synchronisation to use eDirectory as a source for your LDAP authentication and have the accounts sync-ed from your AD to eDir. This way, they can still do the administration on their AD side and you don't have to worry about the passwords being out of sync. -- Cheers, Edward That's...
