Firefox or not Firefox

Summary: Firefox or not Firefox
You asked why I took it off but did not ask more than the basics. I put
security but in fact I put on Fire fox today and found a GOOGLE front
page for searching when I had nothing there before. I wondered if I had
been hijacked or you had done a very stupid update. I still do not know
for sure. I do not ever use Google that I know of. The biggest spy on
computers in the world and you should know better. If I find it is
correct on Firefox I will go back to IE. At...Firefox 22.214.171.124 After security update Firefox report on every site it can't connect but IE7 can

Since the restart it does not allow me to go to any webpage.
No proxy settings, plain network connection. Can connect to intrnal and
external sources throug Explorer and IE7.
Started firefox in safe mode, but the same problem is there, so it does
not seem to be related to any plugins

...Firefox Password Security...
I have been using the Mozilla Suite and have decided to give Firefox and
Thunderbird a try. Although I don't use it all the time, I did make use
of the Password Manager to store info for sites I frequented on a
regular basis. The first thing I noticed is that I am able to encrypt
the password and forms data files, but I did not see a similar option in
Please excuse my stupidity, but is this option available in Firefox or
is it automatically done? I keep hearing how Firefox is suppose to be
more secure, but this apparent difference concerns me.

Of course there is. Go lo...New Firefox versions should result in larger file versions that previous firefox versions

I work for a company whose software does enterprise vulnerability
management. I work with Windows and Windows applications. One of the
things we do is install patches to products where needed. We rely on
file versions because they are the best bet to know which version of an
application is on the system (files are generally where the
vulnerabilities reside). If a systems registry gets restored or

I don't know this is the fact that the test case can't access the secure
http link, but I do hope that the firefox in test can also access this
kind of link.

Summary: Increase in password security threats, Trojan stealing Firefox Passwords.
Backdoor trojan using Mozilla Firefox Components to steal passwords in
iamfamous.dll inserts itself into components folder. Very hard to find
and remove, not all AV programs or malware removers can find it yet.
Password security may need to be updated QUICKLY.
I hope you can prevent future versions of this type of trojan.

I don't know if this will go anywhere, but as both a die-hard Firefox
user and an advocate for wildlife, I think it should be said.... As you
may or may not know, "firefox" is the literal translation of the Chinese
name for the Red Panda. Yes, the OTHER panda -- the cute, orange,
raccoon-like one, not the big, black-and-white, bear-like one.
