OS X image save issue

Name: Irving Washington
Product: Gran Paradiso
Summary: OS X image save issue

Comments:
Minor (maybe) issue: drag-saving jpegs from any page to the Finder
(Desktop, etc.) saves the file with the .jfif extension instead of the
..jpg or .jpeg that the original file had. The files appear otherwise
undamaged.

Mac OS X Firefox

I found that that the Firefox Applications content type are having vnc. This is not a good way of doing it. It can posed a lot of problems with Security. issue about Firefox OS API and Firefox OS email client
Hi all, I try to create simple application for Firefox OS: this application will check my email-server for new emails and will vibrate if some new emails were found in inbox. I search the simplest way to make this app with Firefox OS API, but, looks like it is not easy and it will be hard to make the custom application, which should connect to 'black-box' server on the specific port and send custom messages (do we have standard API for this, which we can use now?) Also, I review code of standard Firefox OS email client and as I can see in https://github.com/mozilla-b2g/ga...

I am using Mac OS X Version 10.4.11 (Tiger), Firefox Version 3.0.3; Firefox crashes half the time: File > Print > Save as PDF
Name: mike Email: m_salantatyahoodotcom Product: Firefox Summary: I am using Mac OS X Version 10.4.11 (Tiger), Firefox Version 3.0.3; Firefox crashes half the time: File > Print > Save as PDF Comments: And the resulting PDF is a mess, it cannot be opened, and it gives no indication of damage until you try to open it. In other words, after crashing and restarting firefox several times, one can be left with a number of PDFs that are absolutely CRAP (one for each crash). There is a crash reporter which analyses this, but I am not a techie; parsing complaints seem to be ...

OS X "Save" Issues
We now have a couple OS X workstations in our environment. One of them has a unique problem that may be an NFA or NW Rights problem? This user can Save a brand new file anywhere on the network once. If they then continue to edit the file and hit Save again later they get an error? If they instead choose to Save As and give the file a new location or new name they can Save again once. This user now Saves their files much less often and uses a naming / revision scheme mydoc.doc, mydoc1.doc, mydoc2.doc. Each time they save they are forced to give the file a new name to get it...

Firefox on OS X spacing/font issues
I updated to 2.0.0.5 (OS X)the other day and ever since most of the websites I visit are not rendering correctly. The spacing seems to be messed up. Examples: http://www.flickr.com/photos/10287730@N02/859974967/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/10287730@N02/859974961/ Anyone any idea what might be up with this? Only other thing I did was install Adobe CS3 Web Premium (could it be font related?) but I've since uninstalled that but still have the same problem. Safari and Opera on OS X all render the pages correctly as does Firefox on Windows. Any help would be greatly a...

Firefox 2 beta2 Mac OS X Performance issue
Name: Lee Iverson Email: leei_at_ece.ubc.ca Product: Firefox Summary: Firefox 2 beta2 Mac OS X Performance issue Comments: I was interested in trying out Firefox beta 2, but noticed that my machine got very sluggish immediately upon opening. Checking around, I ran 'top -u' in a terminal window and saw the CPU usage of firefox-bin pegged at (or above!) 100% (I have a dual-core Intel Macbook Pro). This is a bit bizarre and unacceptable. There is a long-standing problem with animation etc. in Firefox whereby its mere existence on a page burns CPU at an surprising rat...

Netware 6 and Mac OS X File Saving Issues
We have recently upgraded from Netware 4.11 to Netware 6. With the migration we changed to using NSS volumes vs. traditional volumes. We have about 150 Windows 9x, NT, XP system and 25 Mac's running a mix of OS 9 and OS X. With Netware 4.11 we used the IPX 5.11 client for our OS 9 boxes and used native Apple talk on the server for OS X boxes and ran traditional volumes and loaded DOS, MAC, and LONG name spaces. On the new Netware 6 server we are using the IPX 5.11 client for OS 9 and the IP client from Prosoft for OS X and as mentioned using NSS volumes loading DOS, ...

Slow "Save image as" in OS/2 Firefox?
Has anyone else noticed that "save image as" in Firefox can be very slow at times. Sometimes it will lock out the keyboard for 15 or 20 seconds. At other times it appeats to act as it should and I can do multiple saves in sequence as I should under multitasking. The same happens with "save file". Comments: I've had major crashes while running Firefox, OS X Snow Leopard, xStandard editor and have been unable to determine what the cause is. Recently it has been brought to my attention that when Apple released the new version of OS X, which is Snow Leopard, they did so with an older version of Adobe Flash Player, that has major vulnerabilities. After updating / upgrading my version of Adobe Flash Player, the Firefox browser seems to be oper...
