Probably you have an extension that you may not even be aware of installing
such as  "AVG Safe Search" (Link Scanner component),
see   http://kb.mozillazine.org/Problematic_extensions
Please try to choose a more descriptive title so you don't get thrown into a thread
from months ago.
If you don't find the solution there suggest you post as a question to
the   mozilla.support.firefox    newsgroup.
