Why does it take so long to START the download process??? No matter what cable provider or OSX system re-installing or even what version of Firefox I was using, it would take forever (up to 45 seconds) for the START UP of a download. But when the download finally did start, it's fine. Why such a LONG START UP time? Please help me with this as this is NOT happening to any other web browser I'm using for OS X 10.4.7. Thanks in advance for your help in this situation.

No matter what version of Firefox that I've used (even re-installing OS X to even it's most current version; 10.4.7) it STILL takes up to a minute to START downloading the file. Mind you, this has happened now for more than a year now. This also has nothing to do with the Cable Provider we're using, because we moved from New York to Texas, and the same thing is still happening. T...

Asynchronous process takes 50 seconds before displaying "Process started" message

The problem is that this message is displayed on the screen 50 seconds after the process has started. The process ends about 90 seconds afterwards. Is there a reason why I can't write to the screen within 50 seconds after the process begins? I can paste code if you need it. The message will be displayed when the main thread has completed its work, though I ...

Thanks, ecktwo Yeh, it got broke in one of the upgrades and I did not fix it. If you want to fix it you just need to change the counting logic in downloads.aspx.vb to not use the clicklog from DNN. I'm working on a complete rewrite of the mod for 3.X which I should be able to release soon. hth BruceDynamicVB.Net...
