Hi there,
Just some quick feedback regards to beta 3. I think the private
browsing feature is superb, basic yet useful (especially when at work ;)
). Maybe we could have more settings to personalize this feature, e.g.
start with Firefox and a quick access button that we can add to the
toolbar. Also acid 3 test is very good and after evenly using Firefox
and internet explorer using only half the RAM - FF=97mb IE=210mb.
Overall very good improvement over Firefox 3.0 and internet explorer in

This new updated version of Firefox is exceptionally well done. I
particularly like the added plus sign next to the current tab used to
add a new tab. I also like being able to tear a tab from the current
window to create a new one. Dragging the tab into the Bookmarks folder
to create a new bookmark is nice too; I don't know if that was just a
feature on the previous version I never discovered, but I enjoy it
nonetheless. The updates are not major, but regardless, they are mu...
DNN 3.1.1, why is it still using FTB 3.0.5000.1? The latest is 3.1.3300.0
Hi,My DNN 3.1.0 portal site has a fair share of Firefox users, and hyerplinks and emoticons does not work. I know DNN, even 3.1.1 is using the old FTB 3.0.5. Is there a reason for this and also when I swapped the FreeTextBox.DLL in my site it temporarily broke the installation. I guess I should rebuild them from the source project, if I want to go to that on my site.Is this correct? In general I think that Firefox support is going to become very important.Web Site: http://www.culturewave.net/portalThank you.Manabu TokunagaHome of The StokeCultureWave.NET StokePORTAL

Comments:
The current Firefox 3.0.7 automatically reinstalls every time I start
Firefox 3.1 Beta 3 - I'm tired of reinstalling the beta even though I
like its speed and I'm giving up now.
Other problems with the beta: I cannot access "other buttons" for the
Google toolbar (like the news icon); the local news box on CNN.com does
not display.

Please improve the default looks of the browser and increase the
viewable area like Google Chrome. It is good to see that you are
borrowing good points from the Chrome and it will be much better if we
can see the handy-ness (appearance-wise) of Chrome in Firefox too.
'Personas' is a great add-on and please increase the view are in it too.
It would be also great to see bottom status bar as optional and replace
it with a sma...
3.1.0 to 3.1.1
Ok... I did the following:
1) made a backup of the web.config.
2) extract the 3.1.1 package over the 3.1.0 package at the host.
3) replaced the 3 keys in the web.config (the sql, MachineValidationKey, and MachineEncryptionKey)
4) I then browsed to the site.
It took a little longer than normal to open up the site... no messages
or anything. I was looking at some things and I noticed that the
log viewer doesn't look the same as another 3.1.1 install... and under
host / host settings the DotNetNuke version showing is 3.1.0. I
would have thought the upgrade would have ch...

The new tab switching feature is useful, but the order of switching is
VERY unpredictable, makes it very difficult to navigate tabs!
Alt-Shift-Tab now moves to the tab to the left, but alt-tab moves to the
last used tab, I could not figure out the command to move to the tab to
the right

From 2.1.2 to 3.1 or 2.1.2 to 3.0.13 to 3.1
I'm checking back in after being away for a couple of months and I missed the 3.1 release. I can't seem to find any info on what's new in 3.1 and also what the upgrade path should be. So, is the recommended path for upgrading from v 2.1.2 to go directly to 3.1 or do I need to go to 3.0.13 first? Are there any big issues in 3.1 that make it a "gotta have it" version?I did a couple of 2.1.2 to 3.0.12 upgrades but haven't upgraded to or tested 3.1 yet. I have one 2.1.2 site that is commercial and I need it to be down as little time as possible. It also has a lot of third party modules...

Summary: Copying bookmarks from 3.0.1/beta to 3.0.1
Comments:
I had a large number of bookmarks in 3.0.1 (maybe beta) when I lost my
cpu. I had to rebuild Windows XP Pro on another disk and re-install
FireFox. Now it appears 3.0.1 knows how to import bookmarks from IE
(whoopie) but not the FireFox on my original disk! Is that crazy or what?

Upgrading from 3.1.0 to 3.1.1
I just read through the very nicely done documentation for 3.1.1 and am unsure how to proceed with my upgrade from 3.1.0.(It is a clean install of 3.1.0 with no modules installed)Should I treat my 3.1.0 installation the same as a 3.0.13 installation and follow the instructions on page 8?-----------------------------------------------------
In order to successfully upgrade you must follow the procedure outlined below
1. Make a back-up copy of your existing web.config file (web.backup.resources). We cannot emphasi...
