I know I can find the "always show tabs" in the tools drop-down, but
argh! It took me a few moments to find it. You probably had that noted
somewhere and I didn't bother to read it, so I have no one to blame but
myself, but still! Argh! Tabs are hidden! Do you know how many times
my mother is going to call me asking for help? TOO MANY!
Anyway, thank you. I love FF.

Tab page tabbingHi all, I had a post a couple of months back stating that I had a window
with userobject (mimicking the left side of a Windows Explorer), a dw and a
tab object. The tab settings for the objects on the tab page are set
correctly, but when I issue a tab, the focus doesn't go to the expected
object.
The suggestion was that obviously focus was going somewhere else, but I
don't know how to look for that.
Does anyone have any tips?
Thanks

I think it would be more convenient if your next version of the Firefox

allowed for quick tab switching without manually clicking a tab to

Tabs / Tab GroupsI'm currently using Mozilla public 1.7
Is there a way of changing the text displayed on tabs? Currently it
appears that the tab label is the <TITLE> def fromthe HTML page.
Example why I require this:-
I have a tab group defined that loads 4 pages of BBC News. Problem at
the moment is each tab has a caption that begins BBC NEWS | etc, which
sometimes takes all the space for the text. Changing the individual
text for the bookmark has no effect, as if it is fixed to the HTML
<TITLE> tag.
Any ideas?

Hey, this is a cool feature and you would win the market with this.
Currently, we have multiple tabs (at the top) in a single firefox

Then, I can have multiple tabs at the bottom, which I can categorize
like one for emails, one for news, one for work-related, etc. When I
click on say the tab i named as 'email' at bottom, it shows me all the
tabs that I have opened under it, like google mail, ya...

Hi vishvishvish,
It is not possible to capture the tab key. however here is an example capturing the 'd' key.

function changeTab(e) {
e = (e) ? e : (window.event) ? event : null;

Comments:
When alt-tabbing between tabs in FF RC2 you just scroll trough them in
the order they are in your tabbar.
It would be very nice if a single alt-tab would jump up and down between
the last two used. (a bit like windows would do)
This makes it considerably easier to work between two tabs if you don't
want to close the others that are open.
Thank you for your hard work.

Closing tab returns to previously viewed tab, tab historyIt would be nice if after opening a new url in a tab and then closing it it
would go back to the previously viewed tab.
In other words keep a list of the recently visited tabs.
Maybe there could event be a menu or arrowbutton that lets you navigate
between tabs as you can go back and forth between previously visited URLs...
Thanks
