Firefox 2.0 to 2.0.0.1 change in "for each (var element in array) {}"Hello
I have a problem with an extension i am making. I often use the following bit
of code:
for each (var element in myArray) {
...
}
However the code started to act strangely when i updated Firefox from version
2.0 to version 2.0.0.1. Normally this loop runs one time for each element in
the array, setting the variable "element" to one of the elements in the
array. Hovever in Firefox 2.0.0.1 sometimes the following function is added
to the end of the list:
function (value) {
var i;
for (i = 0; i < this.length; i++) {
if (this[i] ...

Hi,
I have version 2.0.0.3 installed. I just got a dialogue box telling me
that I have received 2.0.0.2 as an update. This obviously doesn't make
sense. What is going on here?

I don't know what changed since 2.0.0.1 but the new releases (2.0.0.2,
2.0.0.3) seem very buggy. Random crashes, slow responses and
additionally problems with administrator rights.
I had similar problems on 2 out of 2 systems. Best solution for me (and
probably a lot of other users) is to go back to 2.0.0.1 and disable
automatic update.
Success!

Comments:
Possible Problem
I am not sure if it is because my firewall hasn't picked up the version
change yet but if it is not so the new version doesn't work for me.
Possible Answer
I have Sygate Firewall, It was set to permit all so maybe the version
change wasn't monitored therefor not allowed.

allow this option to show dates - thanks!
Date representation to International Standard ISO 8601 YYYY.MM.DD
or YYYMMDD
e.g.: 2008.04.16 or 20080416
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_8601
It isn't perhaps one of the most widely adopted of international
standards, but for anyone working with date formats that need to be
quickly parsed and sorted by computer, it's the best.

I am currently using a version of Firefox with the version number of
2.0.0.3. This is the second time that I have been told that it has now
been updated to a newer version of Firefox with a version number of
2.0.0.2. I assume that 2.0.0.3 is newer (and better) than version
2.0.0.2. How can I stop this "update"?

Hi,
Firefox automatically downloaded/installed 2.0.0.13 and asked permission
to restart upon which it continuously crashes (reboot etc. didn't fix).
I reinstalled 2.0.0.11 and have no issues with this version.
How do I prevent a repeat of above events?

Ever since the updates to 2.0.0.10, our customers are not able to use
iNotes (Lotus Domino Webmail) to attach any emails. It is possible that
the fix "MFSA 2007-37 jar: URI scheme XSS hazard" is causing the
errors. Our only results is to have people downgrade back to 2.0.0.9 or
to use IE.
I know its not really a bug because the fix is for security purposes,
but many Lotus Notes users are not able to use iNotes to check their emails.

Upgraded from 2.0.0.3 to 2.0.0.2???Just downloaded a FireFox prompted update. I was running 2.0.0.3. The
downloaded update is 2.0.0.2 ... seems to me that's a step backwards ...
is there a reason?

I had a weird instance today, where Firefox locked up (no, that's not
weird...lol) on Vista, and so Vista did the "checking for problems"
process, and then...
