Firefox 3.6.9 and 3.6.10 Become Unresponsive
Name: Nathan Richards Email: acejaxatgmaildotcom Product: Firefox Summary: Firefox 3.6.9 and 3.6.10 Become Unresponsive Comments: Since upgrading to 3.6.9, Firefox will become unresponsive if I let the browser sit for a time with many tabs open (10+ tabs). I am not watching streaming video, and am mostly going to text-based reference sites. This, for me, is repeatable and happens every time I let the browser sit for more than, say, 20 minutes when I have a lot of tabs open. When returning to the browser, I get the spinning beach ball for a long time. Eventually, Firefox will respond, but each subsequent click results in the long beach ball wait again. I did not have this problem prior to 3.6.9. Running Max 0SX 10.6.4, 4GM RAM, Core i5 iMac.
