Runtime Version : 1.5.0_19-b02-306 ('Apple' (http://apple.com/))

We are experiencing GW 8.0.1 lock-ups on *some* of our Mac (power pc)
machines. I have been chasing this for several weeks without reporting
it because I couldn't find anything reproducible.
Now I at least have a lead. I took an office poll of our Mac client
users and those who have Firefox 3.5.2 or later installed are
experiencing crashes, but those who only use Safari are fine.

xmarks will not sync with firefox 3.5.2 or 3.5.3Even when I manually try to sync from xmarks and replace all the
bookmarks on the PC with those from the server, xmarks stops
downloading bookmarks after a while and then does not go more than 2
levels deep. Passwords are not downloaded at all.
I have re-installed firefox and even re-installed windows xp in an
attempt to sync, but to no avail.
Looking around the Net, I have seen that others have had this problem,
but I have not seen a solution.

[ANNOUNCE] Firefox 3.5.2, Firefox 3.6, and all thatHi,
I wanted to give you guys an update on what the project plan looks like:
The next release is Firefox 3.5.2. We're intending to use that milestone
for the automatic major update, i.e., people will get this update offer
without asking for it.
Thus, now is a good time to press your favorite buttons and get the
feedback you got on 3.5 and 3.5.1 into the 1.9.1 tree and in 3.5.2. The
timeline for 3.5.2 is an early August release. I don't have a tree
closure date for you yet, so "the earlier, the merrier".
The next big thing is Firefox 3.6. That's rough...

I have been alerted this morning by the 01net Newsletter (www.01net.com)

It would be cool if an alert appears when a new version s availiable !

Shiretoko (Firefox 3.1) being renamed to Firefox 3.5 #2In this week's delivery meeting, in a previous thread here, and on
devnews, we announced a proposal to renumber Shiretoko (aka "Firefox
3.1") to Firefox 3.5, before beta 4 is released. As was expected, no
show-stopping problems with that proposal have surfaced, so we will be
proceeding with it as the plan of record.
Sam Sidler will be coordinating the required changes across the
various arms of our project, so please look for posts from him with
updates on the progress of the transition.
Thanks to everyone for their feedback, and their help with this renumbering!
