I have fiddled out for days tinkering with the setting in about:config trying to get FireFox 12 to use the disk cache. I have NOT found the trick. This One Trick Pony ain't doing it like it used to up until recently. Pray tell anyone, What information can I share that will point a knowledgeable person to aid me in getting FF to disk.cache? Two Problems- Status bar is 1 1/2 inch! and can't drag web addresses to bar next to "bookmarks"
I just transferred my wife's email to a newer computer. On the other machine I had a problem with the "family' profile which did not allow me to drag and drop web sites to the bar next to "Home and Bookmarks". It worked on my profile but not hers. I thought it would change on the newer pc, but the same problem exists. When I do drag the sites to the bar, they end up under the Bookmarks folder icon only. Any suggestions?
