Summary: ebay Firefox edition never updates ebay account

Firefox for ebay will not update my username and it
continues to use my former ebay username. Because of
this it will not recognize items I am
bidding,watching and won and I have to change account
names to use ebay site.
I have had this problem for a very long time and with
new updates of   Firefox companion for ebay and
Firefox problems are persistent.  I also have tried
to press the File a bug report and the bottom of this
page and I get the add on for the beta test for IE
I am using a Mac OS 10.5.6  Firefox companion for
ebay 1.6.11
Firefox 3.0.9
