Focus problem in TB 2.0.0.14 (20080509) and FF 2.0.0.14

I'm not sure what is going on. I'm use to the problem in FireFox with
all previous versions having a problem entering text on occasion but
lately its happening constantly in TB as well now. Its making writing
email almost unusable. I have to switch back and forth through
several different apps windows to be able to type into the Mozilla app
or type it into ClipView and then paste the text into the Mozilla app.
This is on a T61 with eCS 2.0 RC4, with XWP 1.0.8. I have had
sliding focus enabled if that matters, but I've used that before
without a problem to this extent. The problem doesn't occur in any
other app that I have noticed.

Also Peter W. will we be seeing a new enhanced version of the Mozilla
apps anytime soon? I know you are short on time, but I miss your
builds.

I experienced the 'enter text problem' last night for the first time.
It was also the first time I had sliding focus enabled. The problem
went away when I disabled that feature. As to why there is this
interaction, I don't know. I am using SeaMonkey 1.1.9 (March 26,2008
build). Yep, Just tested to see if it is still a problem and sure
enough, it is. I just install the latest release of Xworkplace last
night and was testing its features on this new install of MCP fp4 system
when I found this problem. I can only assume that the composer window
does not handle focus right, and is long standing bug on branch. For
what it is worth, I did not see this bug in my last night trunk build of
SeaMonkey that I just fired up for a quick test. Firefox newest will be
available in just a few days, just disable sliding focus until then.

PS. Most, if not all, of his special features, have made it into the
trunk builds.

Bill,

Yes something has changed either in XWP or TB, because this never
happened before. OK I will leave it disabled for now. Thanks for
checking.

The changes in the official Gecko-1.8.1.14 releases didn't really
necessitate a release in my view, so I'm waiting for .15 to happen.

XWorkplace 1.0.8 contains a fix to enable sliding focus to work with
OpenOffice.org 2.x. Apparently this broke something else.

Firefox 2.0.0.2 & 2.0.0.3 niggly problem
I just upgraded both my desktop and my laptop to FF v2.0.0.2 a couple days ago. Both began doing the same annoying thing. When I click a URL shortcut on my desktop or a link in my newsreader, an error box pops up saying "File http://blahblahblah or one of its components not found. Make sure the path and filename are correct." Then FF goes ahead and loads the page. This doesn't happen if FF is already running. If it's not running, it happens every time.
