Build Error : ImportError: No module named logging

Hi,

  While compiling Mozilla Firefox source for 3.6a1pre, I am getting
the below error.

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/home/guest/sb/mercurial/src/config/JarMaker.py", line 48, in
<module>
    import logging
ImportError: No module named logging
gmake[5]: *** [libs] Error 1
gmake[5]: Leaving directory `/home/guest/sb/mercurial/src/obj-opt/
netwerk/locales'

Can someone please advise ?

Thanks,
Shailendra

Your version of python doesn't seem to be setup right.

I think you need a 2.4, but I recommend a current 2.6 or so. Both of
which shouldn't have anything to do with your problem, logging was added
for 2.3, and I can't imagine anyone having installed something older
than that.

The version that I have is python-2.5.1

But I still get the above error.

Am I missing anything to import logging module ?

The logging module is part of standard python. If you don't have it your
python installation is incomplete or broken.

VS Builds, and Builds, and Builds
Hello, Has anyone else had this problem?  After a while of developing, and I go to compile, VS takes forever to build and I have to end-task it.  It's definitely after I've been working for a while, then it finally has "had it" and just takes forever to build.  It's annoying as I know its not the machine (2.8 GHZ processor and 1GB RAM).  Has anyone else experienced this problem?  By the way, I do have SP1 installed. Also, after minimizing and switching around screens, when it does this, the building icon in the status bar doesn't show.  And, for more informati...

I had to dig down deep in my testing lore and run 'prove -v t/simple.t' before I could find the STDERR that revealed this. Get following error when building using devenv.exe from cmd but not when building in VS2005 ASPNETCOMPILER : error ASPPARSE
Hey, Was wondering if anyone could help. When building the solution in VS2005, I get no issues, build successful. However, when building the solution using devenv.exe, it seems to do a asp precompile which generates the error above. Possibly because the precompile is relying on controls that have yet to be built. I have checked the Build Order in the solution and everything is correct. Is there any way to prevent this precompile and therefore prevent this error? Can someone possibly explain why it may be happening? Thanks, B...

Building modules without building man-pages
