Built Firefox on Mac OS X. No errors, but Where is the Product?
I built Firefox according to the published instructions , steps
The last step 6 says to "Build it" by entering
make -f client.mk build
So I did. And after about an hour of grinding away the command
exitted. Here are the last few lines it printed:

libbrowser_feeds_s.a ../places/src/libbrowserplaces_s.a ../shell/src/

...How to get contents of the address bar in OS X Firefox from another app?
My app relies on OS X accessibility to get current tab URLs from different browsers.
But Firefox on OS X doesn't use native UI, so I can't get to its address bar with OS X Accessibility framework. (Or at least Xcode Accessibility Inspector can't see it properly.)
Are there any possible ways to get it?

I'm running XE5 on a 32 bit W7 under a Parallels 9 virtual machine on a Macbook Pro OS X 10.8.5 (retina display). If I compile any FMX application and run it, then on my return I receive multiple "Access Violation" errors in Fmx190.bpl. Sometimes (not always) these are preceded by a single access violation in d2.d1.dll.
Obviously, this will prevent me from any OSX or iOs development. Has anyone else had this problem? I see in the documentation that VMWare is mentioned as a suitable Windows hosting environment, but not Parallels. Is this causing my problem?

Summary: Firefox 3.5 on mac os X hands my web application but not on other platforms
I believe that firefox 3.5 on mac OS X has a bug.
I have tested with other browsers :
Mac Os X 10.5
1. internet explorer
2. firefox 3.5
doesn't seem to have any issues.
Any suggestions of how to prove this but such that I can perhaps log a
call with the folks on mozilla?

Very Strange! This page loaded immediately after my update to and
restart of 126.96.36.199 on Mac OS X:
It loaded in a separate Firefox window. It was/is an advertisement
for some "Chinese Weight Loss Product." I've never seen a Firefox
install/update do anything like this. Has anyone else seen this???
Or, possibly, should I stop it with the Crystal Meth?

It seems that Firefox (2.0 RC 3) hogs quite a bit more CPU resources
on my Mac (PPC - OS X 10.4.8) than on a Intel based Linux box. Is there
are OS specific reason for this?

What do you mean 'hogs'?
Firefox will use as much as the system will give it - if you arent using
it for other things, then Firefox will gladly take advantage of it.

...Re: Firefox, Firefox OS as a gamer platform
Wow!! That really does look like it's going to be an awesome event. I'm a
hobbyist game developer (mainly on HTML5 platform) and like Brian King, I
also wish I could attend the event :'(, it seems like I could learn a lot.
Anyway, I think you could showcase some games that are interesting to play
and have been done using web technologies (and if possible, have also been
submitted to the Firefox OS market). You could talk about the design and
implementation challenges, as well as monetization options available and
the ones opted for.

Firefox works fine on my machine, except since a few days I cannot start it via spotlight anymore.
When I do, it gives me this msg :
"You can't open the application "Firefox.app" because it may be damaged or incomplete."
Yet, as I was stating, going to "applications" and double-clicking the app works like a charm. Likewise via the launchpad.
Tried deleting "prefs" + "app support folder" & reinstalling from a clean download (v39), but didn't work.
Finally, did a codesign which seems to indicate everything is n...Firefox 5.5.2 + Mac OS X 10.6.2 causes Google Apps to crash

I installed Firefox 5.5.2 yesterday, as well as the Mac OS X 10.6.2 update, and now I cannot load
any Google App (Gmail, Reader) to load without the browser crashing. I have tried disabling all
of my extensions, redownloading and installing Firefox again, and even temporarily removing
my preferences folder to fully "reset" Firefox, and none of them worked to prevent crashing.
