Download from download.novell.com using download managerHi,
Not sure where to post this, so I'll just post it here.
I want to downlaod the Netware 6.5 from downlaod.novell.com, but I
crashed it twice already at 200Mb. Is it possible to use a
downloadmanager like DAP or GetRight on this website?
Kind regards,
Arjan
Yes...I used IDM and it worked fine.

Download problem with download managers
Hi,to access part of my app I use standard ASP.NET membership provider. I have standard login.aspx page (no special authentication methods) and one download.ashx file where base on URL user can download some files from server. If I download file (after authentication and “remember me” checked) using only IE – all is ok. But if I want to use for example GetRight or any other download managers I download nothing else that login.aspx file. Why is that happens and how to enforce download managers to download right files from my app after authentication?
Best regards,Radek

Download Manager--Date Downloaded? There seems to be no way to know in Download Mgr a way to sort by dates or
even see the date when a program was downloaded? Is there a way?

Download manager to rename downloadsI've been looking for a DL manager (and I use the term loosely) so
that as the dialog box pops up, I can rename the file that is GOING to
be dl's as in Opera.
Anyone know of such a beast/add-in?

Do not place downloads in the download manager? Is there any setting to have Seamonkey not place downloads in the
manager, or if it has to in order to download, to clear them out when
the file finishes and the save dialog is closed?

try looking at Edit, Preferences, Navigator, Downloads and fiddle around
with the settings there.

Embarcadero download with download managers?I was downloading RADStudio2007 ISO yesterday and found a note on the
download page stating that some browsers would not get the full file
(it is very big). There was also a note on using download managers to
handle the download.
One of the 3 suggestions is FreeDownloadManager, which I retrieved and
installed. But I fail to see how it can be used to actually manage the
download of these ISO:s, since the Embarcadero download button hides a
java script so there is no URL to copy into the download manager....
Has anyone here successfully used FreeDownloadManager to download disk

This issue started some time ago, with the last FF2.x updates. It is now
continuing with Firefox 3.0.1
Is there something I can do to stop this happening?
Thanks

How do I force Firefox to hand off downloads of .exe files to an external download manager?
It does all right with archives and non-program files, but a lot of
installers are executables (and huge)...
Without high-speed access and on a line that is intermittently noisy, I
need Firefox to treat exe download files like any other archive and hand
them off to my download manager... and there doesn't appear to be any
simple way to do it in Firefox 1.5
Thanks in advance

Downloads stop downloadingFile downloads stop downloading at random. We reboot our BorderManager and
the downloads seem to work fine for a day or two and then the problem
starts again. The downloads will start fine but then at some point before
the download completes, it stops downloading anymore. Doesn't matter what
browser we use. This problems happens no matter what site on the Internet
we download from. Any ideas?
