I don't use Sygate (its support forum may give you the answer), but I have
never allowed Internet access to those programs in Zonealarm.

Are you running a LAN? The netbeui protocol is what allows the other machines
to talk to each other on my home LAN. As for Win32 kernel core, I've been told
this is Windows multicasting trying to let the world know it's up and running
on the net(work).

On my system, I have to allow netbeui to file and print share in Network
Neighborhood. I disallow Win32 kernel core to no ill affect.

Win98se, Sygate Pro behind a NAT router.

You can block Win 32 Kernel core without any ill effects.
In Sygate, just block it in the application rules window.

ALLOW ALLOW ALLOW
Name: Sara F Product: Firefox Summary: ALLOW ALLOW ALLOW Comments: It's getting extremely tiresome to have to "allow" a site to reload/redirect all the time. at least three of my favourite sites require that I do this, including my webmail, which often does it TWICE. Also, should I not select the 'allow' option and switch tabs, the option disappears entirely, which means I have to reload the page and repeat the whole process. My suggestion is this: Invest some time into "allowing" Firefox to REMEMBER which sites I always allow. Browser ...
