wine version 1.1.28 or 1.1.44?
Here's a question about the wine emulator choices. I'm very happy using openSUSE Linux and I have installed a few applications, but only using the Yast2 methods and RPM groups. The latest available wine version on the Yast2 enabled installation is 1.1.28-2.3 which was built last October. The latest available wine version on the winehq.org web site is 1.1.44 How safe is it to use the non-Yast approach for a new user such as myself to try to install 1.1.44? Re: Versions 1.0 and 1.1
Hey I have a clean installation of Windows XP Pro SP 2 (the CD version, not XP upgraded to SP2) and Visual Studio 2003 .NET Pro and of course, IIS is installed. When I attempt to create a ASP.NET Web Application, Web Service or anything ASP.NET, I get the error message: "Visual Studio .NET has detected that the specifed Web Server is not running ASP.NET version 1.1. You will be unable to run ASP.NET web applications or services."I upgraded my system through Windows Update at each step of installation and now I have no more upgrades to get. Is there some way to even upgrade ASP.NET or perhaps...
