Firefox 3.5 eventually crashes when navigating in google maps street view

Comments: 
I was navigating a street view on google maps and it locked preventing
further navigation, I was able to click the Search Maps button and
select street view again to navigate a bit more, however Firefox
ultimately crashed and vanished, upon restarting it reloaded the
previous session.
