On old computers I agree,... I run on an

Athlon II X4 620 in office mode (40% slower than possible) and Graphics card Radeon HD5670. WPF works smooth under Win7. 

People liked the visual appearance of the XXScene stuff. XXScene is more ... the 3D stuff is cool.
