GetMACAddress return empty or 00-00-00-00-00-02

Hi, All

I have get the procedure GetMacAddress working most of time, but for several
machines (they can connect to the head office app server remotely), this
procedure returns empty or 00-00-00-00-00-02, what do they mean?

Thanks

That is not a VCL, RTL, or Win32 API function, so you must be using a
third-party function, correct?

Nobody can answer that until you show what GetMacAddress() is actually doing
internally.

Date format of 0000-00-00 or 00:00:00
I am converting a MySQL database to SQL server 2000. I noticed that in one of the database fields in a table, they set a default value for the field as 0000-00-00. Is this okay for a default value for SQL Server 2005 ? How about a default value of 00:00:00 ? Will '00:00:00' is ok, while '0000-00-00' is invalid. A quick test in SQL Server: create table testDate (id int,t smalldatetime default '00:00:00') insert into testDate(id) select 1 create table testDate1 (id int,t smalldatetime default '0000-00-00') insert into testDate1(id) select 1 The 2nd insert will fail because '0000-00-00'...

PB4 and 00/00/00
I have an application developed in PB4. On some of my dates, I would like to display 00/00/00. When I do this though, it is displayed and stored as 01/01/00. How can I obtain the desired results? Thank You, P.J. Borandi pborandi@nb.net I had the same problem. The workaround is to use four digit dates. It will clear out 00/00/0000 with no problem. Brian CPD Mark A. Hi, I just upgraded one of my Bugzilla servers from 2.20 to 2.20.1 and now I can't create charts anymore. Many thanksRichard Try this for  ^d{1}d{1}?d{1}?\.d{1}d{1}$ ( I did not get your question properly.. do u need regex for any numbers or zeros?) if it is only for zeros^[0][0]?[0]?\.[0][0]$ These should workBetter Post your code before asking some thing, some one. Adding Time (00:00:00)

Displaying Date without 00:00:00
Hi, I am using a calendar to input a date into a database, and I am using calendar.SelectedDate.Date as I know this just display's the date before it goes into the database. But after inserting, the database holds the following: 25/09/2007 00:00:00, but I only want to display the date when outputting, not the time as well. What is the best way around this? I thought about trimming when outputting from the database, but this just doesnt seem a good way, as I am using quite a few datetime fields and would take a while to change. Thanks  try adding .ToShortDateString to the date varia...

Datetime
I know this is probably really simple but I can't seem to find anywhere that tells me how to do it. I've got one datetime variable and I want to assign it to another with the time set to 00:00:00 I'm on PB7 I'm afraid! The Date function will extract the date part of a datetime. Then cast it back with the DateTime function. dt_no_time = DateTime (Date(dt_with_time)) <Jim Lea> wrote in message news:412a05ac.1b9b.1681692777@sybase.com... > I know this is probably really simple but I can't seem to > find anywhere that tells me how to do it. > &...

Time field only showing 00:00:00
I have a mySQL database that stores a time in it (15:32:22 for example).  I've checked the table and it IS saving time in that format, but when I try to display that time either just as it is in the database or by converting it, it won't display anything but 00:00:00  I'm using a repeater to display the data, and just to DISPLAY it, this is what I'm using as code: <%# DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "visitTime") %>  And to try to convert it to a "3:32 PM" format, I was using a public function like this:public string convertTime ...

RegExp to allow range 09:00-10:00 but not 09:00-08:00
Hello all,I'm using the ASP.NET RegularExpressionValidator, and since I'm a beginner at writing RegExp, I thought one of you might be able to help me out. I need a way to validate a time-range (start and endtime), where the user should input the range in the format of 09:00-10:00, but where an entry of 09:00-08:00 would not be allowed, since the second part (08-00) is before the first part (09:00).Does anyone know how to write this?Tanks!  This kind of validation is not easily solved with regular expressions. A custom validator might be more appropriate in this case.http://qui...
