[DELPHI] ListView Scrolling DirectionHi all,
is there a way to choose the scrolling direction of a listview in delphi?
For example, when I add items in a listview with ViewStyle property set to vsIcon, if I exceed the listview's horizontal capacity, the listview adds the other items on a new "line" adding a Vertical scrollbar.
And if I want to continue to add items horizontally and use a horizontal scrollbar to scroll?
Is it possible?
Hope you've understood
Thanks in advance.

Scrolling, Scrolling and more ScrollingI've spent several weeks fixing scrolling and zooming bugs on b2g. You
may have enjoyed bug 831973 (and it's duplicates) over the last week. In
bug 811950 it took -9 lines to introduce the bug and a further -27 lines
to fix it. Perhaps we have too much scrolling code:
* AsyncPanZoomController.cpp
* BrowserElementScrolling.js
* PanZoomController.java
* nsFrameLoader.cpp
There is a fair amount of duplication here. Ideally we should have a
single async implementation with a good set of tests. Removing the
duplication is going to require some collaboration.

How to do horizontal scrollingHellow, everybody,
Could anybody tell me how to do horizontal scrolling in datawindow? The
presentation style of the datawindow is grid. Since there are too many
columns to be shown at the same time, I want to be able to scroll to a
specified column, but I have not found appropriate functions to do that
yet.
I posted this problem on this news group before, but when I check in
later I could not find my message on the news group anymore, anybody
know why?
I wish somebody will see this message and be able to help me on this.
Thank you very much.
Jeff

Horizontal scrollingI need to programmatically scroll (horizontally) to a particular column
within a DW. Specifically, I have a DW of several date columns and the
default behavior will be to scroll to the column correspnding to the
current date. How do I accomplish this?
Thanks,

Hi,
Have you checked out the HorizontalScrollPosition datawindow property?

scroll horizontallyHi,
I am using PowerBuilder 10.5 Build 7826. Would you please kindly advise how
to scroll the datawindow horizontally ? I have checked the manual that
"SetColumn" will not scroll the datawindow horizontally.
Thank you!

Hi,
I have been using the Firefox 3 since the first beta and notice that
using the mouse pointer ('keyboard nipple'?) on my notebook keyboard doe
not move the horizontal scrolling bar....it only moves the vertical
scroll bar.
PS: It works properly when I use Internet Explorer btw. This is an
intuitive expectation of the functionality...and hence I am not sure if
this is considered a bug or an ehnanceme...
Horizontal scrollingDear all,
I have a dw which allows our users to scroll horizontally,
there's also code in the clicked event of the dw to
select/highlight the row selected.
When a user scrolls horizontally (to the right) to see
fields which aren't visible, and then clicks another row i
want to maintain my current dw fields. Now my users click
and the focus is placed back on the first dw field.
Is this at all possible ? If so, how ?
TIA
John
What is your code in the clicked event of your dw?

Horizontal Scrolling?Are there any functions I can call to have a datawindow scroll left and
right. I've found
plenty of ways to scroll up and down but nothing for left and right. My
datawindow
has a horizontal scroll bar and I have some edit controls that aren't
part of the datawindow, but when I scroll the datawindow, I have these
edit controls sliding left
and right with the scroll. I want to be able to do the oposite as well.
If these edit
controls move, I want to have the datawindow scroll with it. I just
can't find a way
to tell the datawindow to scroll anyway except up and down. Any h...
