It may be little weird but just want to give you little bit inside of my environment and then error discription .... bear with me
Architecture of my Solution:
My solution contains following projects
1. Class Library for business objects and other validation objects.
2. Asp.Net Website
My solution is on TFS. All other team members using same code (obvious)!
But when I build code on my machine and try to run solution it gives me error.
But if I build or try to run second or third time then its start successfully and I can use website on local host.
1. Pop-up Appears:
" There was build error would you like to continue and run the last successful build"
2. Error in error list
"Object reference not set to an instance of an object"
This error is not causing any harm but bad thing is every developer has to run application 2 or 3 time that is really bad.
I am curios why this error occurs?
Looking forward to hear from you!
Thanks in advance
If we rebuild your solution, does it have the issue? If the code is not changed and the project is not out of date, Visual Studio doesn't build your project, it will launch the old version build.
You can try to set Visual Studio to build the solution when it is out of date (Tools -> Options -> Projects and Solutions -> Build and Run -> Select "Always build" under "On Run, when projects are out of date" and " Do Not Launch" under "On Run, when build or deployment errors occur").
I look forward to receiving your test results.
