Problem when a user logs in as two different users from same computer one after the other

If a user is already logged in as 'sun21170', then if any browser window is opened simultaneoulsly, the same  user 'sun21170' should automatically get logged in. I have seen this happen here on aspnet forums application. Can some one tell me how I could do this? Right now the second window is not automatically loggin in the first window user.

You need to set the forms authentication persistence cookie; there are two ways to accomplish this.

FormsAuthentication.RedirectFromLoginPage( myUserName, true);   // Sets the persistence cookie to true so that
// the next time the user visits the site, they will be logged in

// Does the same thing as above without the login redirect
FormsAuthentication.GetAuthCookie( myUserName, true );

I am using the membership and roles framework but have left the applicationName blank in the roleManager and membership providers so that, as authenticated users create an account, a different applicationID is created for each domain name.  This way, the users and roles ...

How to avoid variable be overwritten by new value when two different user login in two different browser window on same computer?
Hi all, I have silly question to ask. When I login a page, I am using some global variables to store these login information and they will be used in some other pages later on. However, if I am using some other details to login in the meantime, my previous stored information will be overwritten by new contents. So how to avoid it? I tried to use Session to store those contents, they are also overwritten by new contents. For example, after the first login, suppose Process.Company = test1, Process.Keyword = testing1, those two variables would be used later on. And if in ...
